From December 2026 to March 2027, tickets are not available online. During this period, tickets can be purchased directly at the Granatium.
Please note that no combination tickets for Sagamundo or discounts are available during this period. The mining area is closed from November through April and will be accessible again from May. The Granatium, including the Garnet Museum, Garnet Room, Carbuncle Mine, and Granatium Shop, will of course remain open throughout the winter.
In April online ticket sales start again.
Adventure Worlds in the Granatium
The museum
The exhibition takes you on an exciting journey into the world of garnet. You will experience the history of this fascinating stone up close!
The gorge
In the Garnet Gorge, you’ll experience the garnet up close in its natural environment—authentic and unadulterated.
The tunnel
Now things get really adventurous… The 300-meter-long tunnel takes you into the subterranean home of the gemstone. Discover a crystal-clear lake and impressive veins of pyrite and garnet – a real adventure!
The mining area
The mining area is the highlight of the Granatium. Here, everything you have heard and seen before comes to life – with the right tools, you can even uncover gemstones from the rock!
The garnet room
In the Garnet Room, you’ll find a room whose walls are covered with wafer-thin garnet slabs. The clever backlighting creates a spectacular play of colors that showcases the magic of this precious stone.
The Shop
Jewelry, cosmetics, fine chocolates and sparkling gemstones – you can find it all in the Granatium Shop on the 1st floor. Let yourself be enchanted!
